‘I am romancing my work’
PASSIONATE Gaurav Khanna
Gaurav Khanna is not a new face in the industry. This macho man from Kanpur has been in the field for three years now, and has done a number of ad films and serials before landing on the role of Prithvi in Love Ne Mila Di Jodi. Initially, he was sceptical, unsure and also nervous about doing this serial, because he had to do horse riding in it. But now, he finds it very adventurous.

“I am a very adventurous person. With this serial, I got a chance to learn horse riding which I had never done before.” So was it the script or his love for adventure that prompted him to do the show? “Initially it was the script because I have never played a tough character before, but when I knew I had to do horse riding I was a bit sceptical about it. But now it has become my hobby. It has been the best adventure so far.”

Gaurav has played a romantic lover in many shows. So what’s his idea of romance? “Many people don’t believe me but I have never fallen in love. So I am clueless about it. It may happen eventually but presently I am romancing my work.” Watch out girls. If you are adventurous, you certainly hold the key to this guy’s heart.

Hello brother
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah celebrates rakhi this week. Daya (played by Disha Vakani) will be seen tying rakhi to her on screen brother Sunder.

And not many people know that Sunder happens to be her brother off screen too. Interestingly, it does not happen very often that real life crosses path with reel life.
Since they were shooting back to back, Disha felt that she may miss rakhi this year.

But the actress, who hails from Ahmedabad was quite elated when she learnt she
will be making the occasion all the more special by tying rakhi to her brother on screen.

Well, the viewers will certainly witness the sweet brother-sister bonding on screen. Now that this one bond is taken care of, we wonder if Babita will tie rakhi to Jetha or not? We aren’t spilling the beans here, so stay tuned for some more bouts of laughter.
