Actress Salma Hayek and husband Francois-Henri Pinault celebrated their second wedding in a fairy tale style with the sultry actress doing a special collaboration with rocker Bono. The Frida star renewed her vows to French mogul Pinault in a star-studded event in Venice weeks after exchanging vows in a small ceremony in Paris, France earlier this year. The wedding bash turned into one big sing-a-long when the celebrities, Charlize Theron, Woody Harrelson, Penelope Cruz, Ashley Judd, Antonio Banderas, took hold of the microphone to belt out their favourite hits at Venice’s La Fenice opera house stated reports.
Hayek came second to none as she sang Stand By Me with U2’s frontman Bono, Harrelson, and Theron. Theron later joined designer Stella McCartney for a rendition of Don’t Cry For Me Argentina and the pair were later joined by the bride who together crooned the Rolling Stones’ hit Satisfaction. Hayek and Pinault were also treated to a Hawaiian-style version of Over the Rainbow from The Wizard of Oz by all their guests.

Tisca’s double whammy

Tisca Chopra is on seventh heaven right now and it’s all for a good reason. Her films are winning accolades not only in India but on international platforms too.
The talented actress was present at the recently held IFFLA (Indian Film Festival of LA), where Firaaq won a special jury mention for stellar performances.
What is amazing is that Taare Zameen Par was shown at IFFLA last year and was the highlight of the festival while Firaaq won a special jury mention this year.
Tisca sure looks like she’s going places.
With talented Indian actors in demand, India sure seems to have floored the audiences worldwide.

A bout of dehydration

Irrfan is currently shooting in the jungles of Dholpur for his forthcoming movie Paan Singh Tomar. The whole crew is feeling the heat as there are no proper facilities there and its out in the open.
“It’s blazing hot,” said a spokesperson. A source close to the unit said that, “Irrfan has been shooting continuously in the hot sun under soaring temperatures.”
While shooting for a scene Irrfan felt very uneasy and had a blackout, he got dehydrated and to his luck it wasn’t very serious.
It was just too much of heat and too much of work which caused this dehydration adds another source. Now Irrfan is fine and is continuing his shooting schedule.
