<p>Speaking at the protest meeting against corruption held at Kaveri Kalakshethra in Madikeri on Wednesday, he said “a time has come wherein we the youth have to act against the corruption in the country.” <br /><br />“The country was filled with scams like 2G spectrum, Commonwealth games scam, black money, land scam, illegal mining. The youths are facing the problems of corruption, terrorism, Naxalism. As the country is dependent on youth, we students must raise our voice against corruption. The youth are the source of the country,” he added. <br /><br />“In the past British looted our country. Now politicians who are ruling the country are looting us. About Rs 400 lakh crore black money is deposited in the Swiss Bank. The Union government has failed to bring back black money from Swiss Bank. The black money should be utilised for the development works in the country.” <br /><br />ABVP convenor Navaneeth read out an oath against corruption. Shathi Holla sang Vande Matharam. ABVP leader Shivaraj was present. Students from various colleges took part in the protest rally. The protest rally was held from private bus stand to Kaveri Kalakshethra.</p>
