Transfer of power inevitable in democracy, says BSY

He has said that he has respected the decision of the party leaders and stepped down from power. “I had planned to tender my resignation on August 31, after the inauspicious month of ‘Ashada’ but even this became a matter of controversy,” said the former CM speaking to reporters during his visit to Rambhapuripeet on Thursday.

He said that from here, he will focus at the impending election and aim to get 150 Legislative seats and 25 Parliament seats.

“Studies conducted by various independent organisations have ranked the state either in the first or second place in implementation of developmental works,” he said expressing satisfaction.

Ministers V Somanna, M P Renukacharya, MLA D N Jeevaraj, C T Ravi, D S Suresh among others were present.
