Summons copy handed over to HDK

Advocate Vinod Kumar had filed a private petition over recommending mining lease to Janthakal Mining Company violating norms and sanctioning of group sites to Vishwa Bharathi Housing Cooperative Society.

Judge, N K Sudheendra Rao, issued summons to Kumaraswamy, Anitha and Janthakal Mining Company owners, directing them to appear before the court on August 30.

The Lokayukta police inspector Renuka Prasad met Kumaraswamy and Anitha and handed
over the copy to them.

The Special Court issued summons to former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa and 14 others in connection with a second private petition filed by advocate Sirajin Basha.

The court directed Yeddyurappa and others to appear for hearing on August 27.
