The 39-year-old assistant professor of Physiology with Mysore Medical College and Research Institute, passed away on Thursday following a cardiac arrest. And, the body was donated on Thursday to the department of anatomy in the same institute, as per the wishes he had expressed.
Son of Dr S Ramachandra, retired medical officer with Mysugar, Dr Arun had said whenever his end comes, his body should be donated to anatomy department, for conducting practical classes for the students.
He leaves behind wife and two daughters. This is the second body the institute has received, from among their staff members. Last year Dr K Rajendra, Anatomy professor with the same institute, had donated his body.
