It's Ram leela all the way

Last Updated 12 August 2011, 18:35 IST

Back after a hiatus, Ram bets on Kandireega by Santosh Srinivas, to prop up his celluloid career. Srinivas ensures the trust Ram reposes in him is not belied. Brimming with action and drama aplenty, with romance and comedy thrown in to pepper the proceedings, Kandireega has Ram in full flow.

The love saga revolves around Seenu, a spurned village lad who heads to the city, and flips for Shruti, but is pursued by a besotted Sandhya. While Seenu gets Shruti after staving off blackguard Bhavani, he, however, has to take on big bull Rajanna, who kidnaps Shruti, while fending away the attentions of Sandhya.

How he takes the battle head-on, with his wits and brawn, belting the daylights of goons at will, forms the rest of the story. In short, Kandireega is purely paisa vasool for first-day, first-show goers. The discerning can find better outlet for their free time.
