Ministers allotted districts to hoist Tricolour

With the delay in the appointment of district in-charge ministers, several ministers such as S A Ramdas, R Ashoka, V Somanna, Umesh Katti and others will continue to hoist the tricolour in the districts of which they were in charge in the Yeddyurappa Cabinet.

Ministers like Shobha Karandlaje, S Suresh Kumar, B N Bache Gowda and others will unfurl the tricolour in other districts.

It is speculated that the allotment of districts to the ministers to hoist the Tricolour might indicate the districts they are likely to be made in-charge of those districts, sources said.

The ministers and the districts allotted to them are: Revu Naik Belamagi, Gulbarga; Murugesh Nirani, Bagalkot; Govind Karjol, Bijapur; Lakshman Savadi, Koppal; Umesh Katti, Belgaum; C C Patil, Gadag; Jagadish Shettar, Dharwad; C M Udasi, Haveri; S A Ravindranath, Davangere; Basavaraj Bommai, Shimoga; S Suresh Kumar, Chikmagalur; Vishveshwara Hegde Kageri, Uttara Kannada; V S Acharya, Udupi; J Krishna Palemar, Dakshina Kannada; B N Bache Gowda, Tumkur; V Somanna, Hassan; M P Renukacharya, Chamarajnagar; S A Ramdas, Mysore; R Ashoka, Mandya; R Varthur Prakash, Chikkaballapur; A Narayanaswamy, Kolar; Anand Asnotikar, Raichur; Narasimha Naik, Yadgir; Balachandra Jarkiholi, Bellary; Shobha Karandlaje, Chitradurga and C P Yogeeshwar, Ramanagara.
The chief minister will participate in the Independence Day celebrations in Bangalore Urban district, while the respective deputy commissioners will hoist the flags in Kodagu and Bidar.
