FIR against KPSC ex-chief, 3 others

CID Investigating Officer VPN Swamy on Friday filed the FIR with the Vidhana Soudha police against Krishna and KAS officers, Asha Parveen, Y B Archana and Salma Firdous. The charges include submitting fake caste certificate, fraud, creating forged records, and forgery, police said.

The CID said the three women officers had submitted fake documents to get gazetted probationary posts whereas Krishna abetted them in the crime.

There were allegations of irregularities in the recruitment conducted by the KPSC for gazetted probationary posts (Group A and B) in 1998, 1999, and 2004.

Upon investigation, the CID informed the High Court that the charges were prima facie true.

Consequently, the court directed it to file the FIR. The matter, however, will be investigated by the CID.
