It is the only film from South India to be selected at the festival in the Contemporary World Cinema category, a press release here said.
"This is a prestigious segment where the best of world cinema is selected and compete with one another," it said.
The Tamil film is based on a story penned by writer Bhaskar Sakthi.
Directed by Suseenthiran, the film's music has been scored by Illayaraja. The films stars Appukutty and Saranya Mohan.
