Sixth seeded India, who had drubbed Hungary 3-0 in their campaign opener, will next take on South Africa, who also maintained their winning streak, in their last Pool F match to decide the group winner.

India and South Africa have qualified for the last 16 play-off from Pool F while Hungary and Kuwait are yet to open their account. The top two teams of each pool qualify for the last 16 stage automatically.

The Indian trio of Sourav Ghosal, Sidharth Suchde and Harinder Pal Sandhu faced little challenge from their opponents with each of them winning convincingly at the Ahorn-Sport Park.

Ghosal, who was the first to take the court, took 39 minutes to send Abdullah Almezayen packing 3-1 (7-11, 11-9, 11-1, 11-6). Suchde made it 2-0 for India as he hardly broke a sweat in his 3-0 (11-4, 11-4, 11-5) thrashing of Ammar Al-Tamimi in 30 minutes.

Sandhu then completed the sweep for India as he beat Ali Al-Ramzi 11-8, 11-5, 11-5 in 24 minutes.
