Palike will recover its land: Ashoka

Referring to the encroachment of railway land near Mantri Mall at Malleswaram by Mantri Developers, he said “using his influence, someone has tried to gobble government land”.

“It’s a serious issue,” he said, speaking to Deccan Herald on the sidelines of the inauguration of various development works at Bhavani Nagar.

He said he learnt about the encroachment a fortnight ago after the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike’s inquiry report was submitted to the Commissioner.

He said the Palike was asked to initiate steps to recover its property.

“Earlier, we had razed the boundary wall of Mantri Developer’s residential apartment. We will get back our property in this case as well,” added Ashoka.
