Ronnie Wood's Brazilian girlfriend to play next Bond girl

Araujo has defeated Naomie Harris for the coveted role in the 23rd installment of the 007 franchise, which will begin shooting in India before moving elsewhere, the Ace Showbiz reported.

"Ana is really excited. It's all very new to her but she is optimistic about the prospect of landing the role. It's very much a case of watch this space," a source from the movie said.
Araujo has also expressed a desire to work with Craig.

"I'm now focusing on acting. I've got some major roles coming up. My ideal role would be to be a Bond girl and with Daniel Craig as my James Bond, he's perfect and very handsome," she had said earlier.

The 'Bond 23' project is still in its early phase of production and yet to get a title.
The movie is being directed by Sam Mendes with John Logan, Robert Wade and Neal Purvis penning the script. Joining Craig in the cast ensemble is Judi Dench who will reprise her role as M. Javier Bardem and Ralph Fiennes have reportedly been cast to play villains.
