Fora urge removal of RTI Commissioner

The rally was inaugurated by former speaker Krishna at the Kote Anajaneya Swamy temple here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) has become a matrimonial centre.

Irregularities

Instead of giving priority to meritorious candidates, posts are being given to those with money power. The Right to Information commissioner’s post is a responsible position and  H N Krishna should be immediately removed from the post, he added. Progressive thinkers P Mallesh, N S Raghunath, former syndicate member N S Gopinath, theatre artiste K Muddukrishna, litterateur Prof K S Bhagwan, former mayor Ananthu and others participated in the rally.

The rally would pass through Mandya, Maddur, Ramanagar and stop at Bidadi for the night and would reach Freedom Park in Bangalore on September 8 at 11.30 am.
