The 15th Lok Sabha lost 124 hours and 40 minutes in its sixth session in November-December last year, which was the noisiest for it with hardly any business being transacted due to a stand-off between the Congress-led UPA Government and BJP-led Opposition over the latter’s demand for a Joint Parliamentary Committee to probe the alleged scam in 2-G spectrum allocation by the Ministry of Telecom in 2007. Altogether 69 hours and 51 minutes were lost during the fourth session of the House.

Rajya Sabha also witnessed disruptions and adjournments during the monsoon session, which came to its end on Thursday. The upper House lost 53 scheduled working hours for interruptions and disturbances with no business being transacted on 10 days.
