The attack was reportedly carried out to avenge the love affair with a girl of a different caste in the village, which the family of the girl opposed” said police. Anil Loria, station house officer of Jamwa-Ramgarh police station, said the police had arrested four people in this connection.
However, police added that a counter case was registered by the girl’s family in which they have accused the boy of threatening the girl to marry him.
The victim’s father Prabhu Balai said he was stunned with the development.“My boy was not in a good condition to speak, but we have the police about those who have attacked him,” he said.
