The meeting, which took place at Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s 7, Race Course Road residence, heard from Home Minister P Chidambaram on the status of the investigation into the blasts which has been handled by the National Investigation Agency .
Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid apprised the committee of the deliberations at the standing committee on Lokpal Bill. The Prime Minister in particular was keen to know the status of the Bill. The core committee, comprising PM Manmohan Singh and important Congress leaders in the cabinet.
