The injured have been hospitalised and the condition of two is stated to be critical, Superintendent of Police Hassan Amit Singh said.
The lorry has been seized while hunt is on to nab the driver, who is absconding.
All six passengers, hailing from Chikmagalur were proceeding to Mysore for an excursion when the mishap occured.
