Company law tribunal after SC nod, says Centre

Speaking at an interactive meeting with business people here,  on Tuesday, Khurshid said the matter related to NCLT is sub-judice and the government can not push the court to speed its process.

He also mentioned that the investigation into the multi-crore Satyam Computers fraud has been completed and the prosecution will start soon with the filing of the charge-sheet by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the Andhra Pradesh High Court, he said.

“There are cases in the United States where the government took over fraud-marred companies, but in India, such a case is handled in a more pragmatic way. Satyam is back on the track because of the right approach of the government”, Khurshid claimed.
