Court gets permanent security cover

High Court judge (administration) justice N K Patil dedicated the outpost, besides toilet for specially abled, parking lot and also 125 KVA generator at the court here on Saturday.
Under-chassis scanner

Principal district and sessions court judge H P Sandesh said as part of enhanced security measure, under-chassis scanner will soon be installed. That apart, to address woes pertaining to congestion at the existing complex, additional court rooms will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 60 crore at a site identified near Marulavadi lake on Iskcon temple road in Jayanagar.

30-odd courts
It’s inevitable as nearly 30-odd courts are functioning in the existing complex. In the proposed site, 15 courts, mediation centre and other facilities will be created. Of the total fund earmarked, Rs 26 crore has been already sanctioned, the sessions  judge added. While, the generator will ensure uninterrupted power supply for smooth functioning.
When enquired about developing park on the premises, the sessions judge said that he would hold talks with both MCC and MUDA in this regard.
