Voters' list update for Council polls

The list of eligible voters of graduate constituencies for 2005 will be published on October 1 and the new graduates can enrol themselves from that day itself. November 5 is the last date for including the names in the list. The final list will be published on December 12, joint chief electoral officer Shamaiah told Deccan Herald. The elections to north-east, south-west and Bangalore graduate constituencies, south-east, south-west and south graduates’ constituencies are due in June 2012.

The voters of teachers’ constituencies can also seek enrolment from October 1. A total of 19 members including Motamma, G Janardhana Reddy and Y S V Datta will retire from the Council by June 2012.
