Lokayukta report

He said that the Lokayukta report on mining was not a complete report. “The Lokayukta had not even issued a notice to me in connection with the illegal mining. The report has leveled false allegations against me without any documents to prove it,” he said.

To a query on his proposed rathyathra, Yeddyurappa said “I will convince Chief Minister and the BJP President on the proposed rathyathra. Through the rathyathra I will try to create awareness on injustice meted out at me and also false allegations leveled against me by the Lokayukta. The State government’s achievement in the last three years will also be highlighted during the rathyathra.”

He welcomed the Supreme Court’s direction to hold CBI probe into illegal mining in the state.

Yeddyurappa will take part in Chandika homa  on Tuesday.
