"A company of the 27th battalion of the force has taken over the security of the Delhi High Court," a senior CRPF officer said today. A CRPF company has around 100 personnel.
Troops of the central paramilitary force will install additional 'morchas' (fortified posts), watch towers and deploy static armed guards at various places in the court premises, the officer said.
The force will also liaise with the Delhi Police keeping in view the overall security of the premises and areas adjoining the court, the officer said.
Fifteen people were killed and over 70 others injured in the blast that occurred outside gate number 5 of the court complex on September 7.
