Palike Commissioner Siddaiah urged citizens not to use footpaths to sell pooja items and food items and not to litter garbage on the road.
The Palike has also appealed to the citizens not to put banners, posters, flexes and erect decorative arches by damaging the road. He said these things would not only damage the beauty of the City but also hinder the traffic.
He said the City generated more garbage during festival season compared to other occasions.
“So people should properly stock the garbage to give it to rubbish collectors the next day,” he added.
