Festivities galore

Asit Modi’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is known for walking hand-in-hand with the current themes, festivals etc.
Keeping this in mind, the show will be seen celebrating forthcoming festivals, like always, in a grandiose manner.
We recently saw members of Gokuldham Society
celebrating Rakshabandhan. Now, we will be getting to see a festive week, wherein the starcast would be celebrating Janmashtami, Independence Day, Paryushan, Pateti and Ganesh Chaturthi.
It is for the first time that a Parsi festival is celebrated on Indian television.
Also it is very rare that Jain festivities are celebrated with such ethnicity on television.
Earlier, the light-hearted show made an exception by celebrating Mahavir Jayanti. And this time round, we would be getting to see Paryushan Parva in the show.
Rumours hint that the producer has roped in some known Parsi faces for the Pateti celebration.
When questioned about it, producer Asitkumarr Modi says, “I cannot tell you anything as it would spoil the
fun. But I can assure you that the festive week will bring in lot of excitement, fun and
exclusive content. We hope to spread more and more smiles.”
The show certainly believes in spreading cheer all around!

History unfolds

Sphere Origin’s Balika Vadhu is all set to take an interesting turn. The upcoming episodes will witness chapters from Kalyani’s past. Anandi’s father Kajan Singh goes to Mahavir Singh to buy his mortgaged land back but
Mahavir Singh snubs him.
Kajan Singh approaches Kalyani for help but Kalyani refuses to recognise Mahavir Singh. Anandi will listen to the conversation between them and go to Jagya for help.
They go to Mahavir Singh and tell them that they are grandsons of Kalyani and
request him to return the
papers. Kalyani comes to know about this and scolds Anandi for insisting Jagya to convince Mahavir Singh.
According to sources, “Mahavir Singh is Vasant’s tauji and he had created mishap in Kalyani’s life in the past.’’ Kalyani remembers all the
incidences in the flashback, where Heeba Shah plays her younger version.
