Speaking to presspersons here on Wednesday, Ravi Kushalappa said “providing meals to the devotees is a big issue. There is a need to make preparations for it. If the temple committee and the elected representatives agree for it, then meals can be provided to the devotees.”
For the first time in the history meals were supplied to the devotees by the Talacauvery-Bhagamandala Temple Committee and district administration during Theerthodbhava. About 150 volunteers were involved in serving meals, which were received by 35,000 to 40,000 devotees.
