In a chat with reporters in Rampur, Jaya Prada alleged the CDs and posters were intended to malign her image and were also against the dignity of a woman. “It is shameful to use women for political gains,” she said. The film actress-turned-politician said she had already approached the police in this regard and was planning to lodge a complaint with the Election Commission as well. She made it clear there was no scope for any compromise with Khan now, as he was “openly seeking votes” for the Congress.

Actor Dimple Kapadia, who addressed an election rally for Jaya on Monday, also decried Khan and said it was a “great insult to the womankind”.

Meanwhile, Jaya Prada on Monday donated a cow (an auspicious act as per Hindu custom) to a temple and prayed for her success at the hustings. Khan, however, took a swipe at Jaya Prada, saying it reflected her “RSS mindset”.
