Advani wants white paper on black money

Addressing a large gathering at the Gandhi Maidan in Jodhpur on the 29th day of his Jan Chetana Yatra against black money and corruption, he said, “The centre should issue a white paper on black money so that the house could take up the matter for discussion in the upcoming winter session of Parliament from November 22”.

Former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje, former Union minister Jaswant Singh and BJP state president Arun Chaturvedi were among those present on the occasion.

Advani said on the issue of exposing black money, there was unanimity among all parties and asked the honest Congress leaders to emulate the late VP Singh, who mustered the courage to take on then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on the Bofors pay off. He said “it is time for the genuine Congressman to stand up against corruption.”

He said the Congress is equally responsible for the 2G spectrum scam along with DMK and the people of the country will not be satisfied till the Congress ministers involved in the scam were identified and brought to book.

He said the Congress has been trying to absolve itself of the crime by putting the blame on DMK’s  Raja in the 2G scam. Raja has been claiming that he had taken the decision on spectrum allocation in concurrence with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and then Finance minister Chidambaram. He said Raja’s letters to the pime minister justify his claim.
