JOIN USHe was speaking at the voluntary blood donation camp held at government Arts College in Hassan on Wednesday. The camp was held in association with district health and family welfare department, AIDS control unit, blood donation unit of district hospital, Hasanamba Lions Club, NCC unit of the college, NSS unit and post graduation departments.
Awareness should be created on blood donation among healthy boys and girls and others, highlighting the significance of the donation, he said.
H M Shivanna Dr Mallikarjunaswamy, who were the chief guests delivered lecture on the importance of blood donation. College principal Prof H V Lakshminaryana presided.
