30 babies to share b'day in a century

At the Bangalore Assisted Conception Centre (BACC), Pundalik M Chandarg (32)’s wife Vijaylakshmi (28) delivered twins.

The couple from Betageri village in Gokak taluk, Belgaum, termed it as an extraordinary day as it also marks their 11th year of marriage. Excited, Pundalik said the number 11 has always been lucky to him.

“In 2005, I was told by an astrologer that we would have a baby by the end of 2011.When doctors told us it was twins, we were more than excited,” he said.
