UP down MP to clinch title

Asked to bat first in the final, UP rode on opener MC Mohammad’s measured 105 to amass 288 for eight in 50 overs. Mohammad took 141 balls to bring up his knock, including five fours, and shared a 151-run association with skipper Akashdeep Nath (88, 67b, 12x4) for the fourth wicket as UP put up a challenging total.

MP made a spirited reply through skipper Shubam Sharma, who produced a quickfire 104 (117b, 6x4). But the effort was not good enough for MP to overhaul UP’s total. Mohammad Idrish (2/38) and SRC Kumar (2/39) shared the bowling spoils with two wickets apiece.
