In a single shot...

The Kannada film industry is always experimenting with new techniques of film-making.  The latest to join the bandwagon is director Santhu, who along with cinematographer Manjunath, filmed an entire song for the film Alemari in just one shot. The song was shot in Minerva Mills where a set was erected specially for it.

Santhu explains that a lot of preparations have gone into the making of this song. The team and crew rehearsed for three whole days and perfected their moves before the day of the shoot. Interestingly, the song will see the protagonist Yogish in different looks.

“So far we have completed 60 per cent of shooting. We now have only 40 per cent left, which includes two stunt portions,” says Santhu, who is debuting as a director with this film.
The film also stars Radhika Pandit, who plays the role of a Brahmin girl.

Manjunath Nayak is the cameraman and Arjun Janya has scored the music. Manju Mandavya has penned the dialogues and Ravi Verma is handling the stunts. The rest of the cast includes Rangayana Raghu, Adhi Lokesh, Umasri, Rakesh, Ramesh Bhat, Raghuram, Mico Nagaraj and Ramesh Pandit.
