Register for international film festival from Sunday

The first of the four registration counters will be opened at 11 am on Sunday when the curtain-raiser seminar will be held.

Three more counters will work for delegate registration from Monday, said N Vidyashankar, secretary of Suchitra Film Society, which hosts the event.

Apart from the manned counters, the committee will open an online booking counter. “We are finalising certain technical aspects to ensure safe bank transactions. Online registration will start before December,” said  BIFFES director T S Nagabharana.

Students who wish to book a pass online will need to submit document proof online.  The selection panel also released the shortlisted films in the international competition category.
The list comprising 12 films are mostly on contemporary themes and have been picked from an entry base of 40 films. The Indian and Kannada entries into the festival are yet to be announced.
