Getting rid of fat

In a bid to lose a few inches, actress Nigaar Z Khan has resorted to a weight loss treatment at a Mumbai spa. The dusky beauty is currently working on a reality show along with her sister Gauhar Khan. Called ‘The Khan Sisters’, the show went on air on UTV Bindass recently.
She had been trying various diets to get rid of a few inches that have been bothering her, but in vain.

“I am doing a reality show with my sister and just want to make sure I put my best foot forward. And I don’t think there is any harm in taking a little help from experts to get rid of those last few inches that are always the most difficult to get rid of,” said Nigaar.
She will undergo a procedure called vibrator weight loss therapy, where one has to wear a vibrating belt on the spot where you want to lose inches.

A special liquid gel is applied on the spot prior to the treatment and the procedure lasts for about 30 minutes.

Bittersweet relationship

chatting up Arjun RampalGone are the days when an actor’s charm lay in his inaccessibility. The advent of social media, and its arms like Facebook and Twitter, has changed it all. A key takeaway of what is expressed on social media is that the youngsters love to hate.

The show which is to be hosted by the popular actor Arjun Rampal, takes its disruptive concept from this growing trend on social media and is based on this insight that aims to bridge the gap between celebrities and their haters.

On making his debut as a television host, Arjun Rampal says, “‘Love2HateU’ is a show with a very interesting concept. The premise of the show is what really excited me, where a person with a very strong opinion about a celebrity comes face-to-face with that celebrity. Most of these people who we call haters on the show are very active on social networking sites like Twitter or are bloggers themselves.

Does that opinion have credibility or not is what we find out through the course of the show.”  Through the show you will see how the celebrities with their talent, humour and charm try to win over their hater by engaging with her/him through various activities that will convert the hater into a fan.

The show boasts of an exciting line-up of young, desirable and popular celebrities. The show will also feature popular Bollywood film-maker Madhur Bhandarkar as a participant who will come face to face with his biggest hater. Madhur said, “‘Love2HateU’ is built on a very innovative and exciting concept.

As a participant on the show, I enjoyed interacting with my hater as I got a chance to share my perspective on film-making with her. As individuals, we all have opinions and I am happy that at the end of the day, she got to meet me and understand that film-making is not a cake walk.”

The show, which started on November 20, will be aired every Sunday at 9 pm, on Star World.
