Last Updated 23 November 2011, 16:42 IST

The hotel is the first of the ibis bandwagon that has come up in City, with two other properties on the anvil. Located in the IT hub, the ibis features 332 guest rooms, which, though minimalistic and simple, are yet spacious, well-designed and fully equipped with en-suite modular bathrooms. It also offers 15 Mbps Wi-Fi and broadband internet access.

According to Accor India General Manager Delegate (Bangalore Hotels) Philip J Logan, the hotel is designed primarily to cater to the fast-moving business traveler.

“ibis Bengaluru Techpark will provide round-the-clock reception as well as food & beverage services at any moment of the day or night. The in-house restaurant ‘Spice It’ offers Indian, Oriental and European cuisines,” Logan said.

The hotel, containing two meeting spaces, is part of a combo property, which will eventually share the space with Novotel Bengaluru Techpark, due for launch next month. The introductory room rate is Rs 4,999 per night with a free food and soft beverage voucher worth Rs 499 per day.
