Some other trains which were running late on Thursday include the Delhi-Mumbai Rajdhani, Pune-Delhi Doranto Express and Karanataka Sampark Kranti express.

To avoid accidents during foggy days, railways has given guidelines to running staff.
In addition, anti-fog devices are being installed on trains running in areas with dense fog. The device gives track position to drivers.

The device is connected to Global Positioning System (GPS) and can transmit data in adverse weather conditions.

In view of late running of trains due to foggy conditions, Railways have instructed officials to ensure adequate stocks of food, water and milk onboard trains so that passengers are not inconvenienced.
