Banana Walnut Cake

Ingredients:

Maida — 220 grams, sugar free powder — 160 grams, cake margarine — 150 grams, baking soda —½ tsp, eggs — 2 nos, salt — ¼ tsp, roasted walnuts — 50 grams, banana — 1, (big and soft), banana essence — few drops, baking powder — ¼ tsp.

Method: Mix  together  cream and the cake margarine, till it becomes soft and fluffy. Add the sugar-free powder little by little and mix it well with the mixture, then add the egg and vanilla essence to the above mixture. Last, fold in the flour, baking soda, roasted walnuts and bananas and bake in a pre-heated oven for 25-30 minutes at 175-180 degree celsius. There you have your cake!

Butter Biscuits

Ingredients: Flour — 200 grams, sugar-free powder — 100 gms, cardamom essence — a few drops, baking soda — ¼ tsp, fat —120 gms, milk powder — 10 grams, salt — to taste, milk — to mix.

Method: Sieve the flour and baking powder twice. Cream the fat with the sugar-free powder till light and fluffy, add the sieved flour and the essence and make a smooth soft dough.

Make small round balls from the dough and arrange them on a greased baking tray one inch apart. Bake at 150 degree celsius for  20 minutes.

Fruit Cookies

Ingredients: Maida — 250 grams, baking powder — ½ tsp, biscuit margarine — 180 gms, sugar-free powder — 120 grams, eggs — 2 nos, vanilla essence — a few drops, salt — a pinch mixed tutti fruity — 150 gms, milk —to mix.

Method: Sieve the flour and baking powder twice. Cream the biscuit margarine with sugar-free powder until it is light and fluffy. Beat the eggs with vanilla essence and add it to the creamed mixture. Fold in the maida, tutti fruity and milk. Make a soft dough and roll it on butter or greased paper. Refrigerate this dough for at least an hour. Remove and slice it into 1/8 inch thickness. Arrange these slices on a baking sheet and bake them at 160 degree celsius for 20 minutes.
