The actress, who took a two-year hiatus to give birth to her baby with actor Parvin Dabas, said, "I miss being in front of the camera. As an actress I am always hungry. It's been two years since I acted and becoming a mother takes that much time. I am looking at some offers and will be making an announcement by first week of December."

Preeti, who began her Bollywood journey with Shahrukh Khan starrer 'Mohabbatein', turned producer with the film 'Sahi Dhande Galat Bande', an action comedy centered on a gang of four friends. It released on August 19 this year and is a part of the Indian Panorama at IFFI.
She said she is happy with the critical acclaim, but the film took a hit commercially.

"The day our film was released, Anna Hazare was arrested. The nation's mood was not to watch a film. It affected us commercially. But I am happy with the critical acclaim. I ddidn't expect that my very first film will be selected for IFFI," Preeti said.

The film takes up the issue of land acquisition from farmers in a small village Kanjhawla. The film stars Parvin Dabas, Anupam Kher and Sharat Saxena.
