Boyfriend rapes DU girl

The girl, a first-year BA student, told the police that Himanshu Tokas, 21, had dumped her after having sex with her several times. She said she befriended Tokas through a social networking website.

Tokas, a resident of Mohammadpur in south Delhi, was arrested and remanded in judicial custody.

The incident came to light after the girl lodged a complaint on Monday at South Delhi’s R.K Puram police station.

Tokas, a school dropout, led a lavish life with money his family earned from house rents.

The girl said Tokas used to take her to his flats in Mohammadpur where he established a physical relationship with her, promising to marry her. After sometime, when she insisted on marriage, Tokas stopped receiving her calls, she alleged.
