The reality of Tiger project should be placed before the public. It was former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa who recommended to the Centre on the Tiger project in Bhadra Reserve forest.

There is a wrong notion among the people that the Tiger project is being implemented by the Central government. The MLA Jeevraj is misleading the public on the project.

Shankar said that the revenue land does not come under reserve forest. The Central
government will be evict anyone. Those who are holding the land will also not lose the land. The people need not worry over the project.

He said that there has been complete break down in administrative machinery in the state. There has been no coordination among the Ministers. The BJP has both the ruling and opposition members in it.

He said that the Congress has already made ground work to face Assembly election. The KPCC will appoint a observor for the Udupi-Chikmagalur constituency by election.
