Two more ESI hospitals in State

The State Government will set up two more ESI hospitals in Doddaballapur and Bommasandra shortly, said Labour Minister B N Bachegowda.

Addressing a gathering at the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the ESIC Model Hospital in Rajajinagar, here on Friday, Bachegowda also said that the MBBS course will be started in the hospital from next year.

This apart, the minister said, dispensaries will be set up at 10 places, for which 180 medical and paramedical staff will be appointed.

Among them, 90 will be recruited on contract, while the remaining will be appointed through the KPSC, he added.
