
The Supreme Court on Monday granted interim bail to former Union Communications Minister Sukh Ram in the 1993 graft case.
A bench of Justices P Sathasivam and J Chelameswar granted interim bail till January 16, to the veteran politician who has been sentenced to three years.
The apex court provided similar relief to his co-convicts, former bureaucrat Runu Ghosh and Hyderabad-based businessman P Rama Rao, who have also been awarded two and three-year jail terms respectively, in the case.
