The minister has been charged by the CBI in connection with his involvement in a bank housing loan fraud. The charge sheet accuses Sudhakar as partner of Trishul Enterprises and Director of Seven Hills Properties Ltd and three others of knowingly using the forged documents, with the help of the then chief manager of the State Bank of Mysore MTV Reddy in Bangalore, and cheating the bank to the tune of Rs 5.50 crore by getting sanctioned 76 bogus housing loans to “non-existing employees” of reputed organisations in Karnataka.
The case will be heard on August 28 in the court of Justice Subhash B Adi.
