Miscreants assault man in Mangalore

 
Injured has been identified as Jayarama Achari, an employee of a jewellery shop in the city. Miscreants had assaulted Achari on his head using a knife while he was walking near Ramakanthi Theatre. Later miscreants managed  to flee from the scene.

Achari, who was injured seriously, was taken to a private hospital. Superintendent of Police Dr A Subramanyeshwar Rao told Deccan Herald that the reason for the attack is yet to be traced. He said police will take necessary action to nab the culprits.
