Last Updated 19 January 2012, 14:18 IST

After making a stylish appearance in a saree here, American talk-show queen Oprah Winfrey would don the traditional Indian outfit again at the Jaipur Literary Festival.

Designer Sabyasachi fitted Oprah for a saree to be worn at the literary event in Jaipur, where she is listed to speak this weekend. The media mogul had made a surprise appearance at 'Sabyasachi by Sabyasachi' - the new store by the designer that was launched at Kalaghoda here yesterday.

Wearing a sunshine yellow tunic, Oprah accompanied by her god daughter, bought a lot of fashion items from the store. The designer, a "huge Oprah fan" said he was humbled by her visit.

"The fact that she had come on such a short trip but yet found time to visit my store is a great feeling and a great validation of my work," said Sabyasachi whose new store stocks contemporary collections different from bridal couture that the designer is generally known for.

A few days ago, Oprah had turned up in a burnt orange coloured saree for a star-studded party organised by socialite Parmeshwar Godrej. The zip up ready-to-wear saree had been designed by Tarun Tahiliani.

Oprah, is visiting India to shoot for 'Next Chapter', a new series of her famous talk show.
