Art fair
National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) brings the fourth edition of India Art Fair, formerly India Art Summit, from January 25 to 29 at NSIC Bhawan in Ohkla. The fair will focus on growing the Indian art market. The entry for general public will open from January 26 onwards.

Cow art
Artists from all over the country have come together to express their love and concern for animals in a very unique way. Replacing the canvas with fibre glass gau (cow) heads, the artists have brought forth their creativity in different forms for a fundraising exhibition-cum-sale of the artwork made by them on glass fibre gau (cow) head. Proceeds of the exhibition will be used for injured, stray and abandoned animals. The exhibition with collection of 25 artwork will open for general public on January 21 at Arpana Caur’s Gallery, Siri Fort.

Remembering Tagore
The theatre fever continues with National School of Drama (NSD) hosting the 14th edition of its annual national and international theatre festival--the Bharat Rang Mahotsav. The festival, paying a tribute to Rabindranath Tagore on his 150th birthday, will focus on Tagore’s works and will conclude on January 22 at NSD.

Rahman’s renditions
‘Classic Incantations’ — the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg will perform AR Rahman’s compositions on January 22 at Siri Fort Auditorium from 7.30 om onwards. The event is being organised under the aegis of ‘Germany and India2011 – 2012: Infinite Opportunities’. The band with over a 100 musicians will perform orchestral interpretations of symphonic highlights from Rahman’s film compositions. Entry will be through passes available at Max Mueller Bhavan, Kasturba Gandhi Marg.
