"I will only comment on state politics and concentrate on development works," Yeddyurappa, who arrived here to attend the two-day RSS south zone meet told mediapersons who sought his reaction to statements by expelled leader Jaswant Singh, targetting BJP leader L K Advani in the cash-for-votes scam.
To a query on the Gujarat government's ban on Jaswant Singh's book 'Jinnah-India, Partition, Independence', he reiterated that Karnataka would not ban the book.
Yeddyurappa said he would convene a meeting of leaders of opposition parties of both houses of legislature on August 31 to map out issues relating to drought and flood for discussion at the three-day special legislature session, commencing from September 9.
"I want both houses to have a meaningful debate on problems of the people", Yeddyurappa said.
