Emirates' direct flights to Dubai from Dallas

Emirates will launch daily nonstop flights to Dubai from Dallas/Fort Worth from February 2, 2012.

Likewise, On March 1, 2012,  it will begin direct flights between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and Dubai. The new route is expected to benefit the large number of Indian expatriate population in the US by reducing considerably the flying time between India and the US. 

The 15-16-hour service has already brought many techies on board, who form a chunk of Seattle software industry.

The airline also hopes to attract a lot of holiday-makers from the US to Dubai, a major tourism and shopping hub of the Middle East. Those on global business missions too will find it easier to look beyond Dubai and get to a number of additional destinations. Emirates expects considerable traffic from Dubai to Dallas/Seattle as well, with lot of Indians travelling to meet their NRI kin.

The airline’s bait is king-size luxuries and entertainment in the jumbo Boeing 777. Emirates Executive Vicre President (Passenger Sales) Thierry Antinorisaid with a “younger, faster and better fleet” and award-winning cuisine, passengers will love every bit of their time in the air, adding one can watch over 200 movies (including Bollywood), 25 kids’ channels and 19 sports channels on the flight.

Emirates also boasts a cabin crew that speaks 80 different languages. First and business class passengers will be provided with chauffeur service to and from the airport, Antinori said.
