The proprietor and a director of the Innovative Film City here were on Thursday summoned by the City Crime Branch Police for questioning on charges of fraud.
Innovative Film City owner Saravana Prasad and its director Radhika had been charged with duping people of Rs 1.80 crore , Joint Police Commissioner (Crime) B Dayanand told PTI here.
The duo had mobilised Rs 1.80 crore from investors promising them handsome returns but cheated them, he said.
The film city in Bidadi known for its amusement parts and film studios has been drawing huge crowds.
