Four local players in Mangalore United team

Malpe Janardana and Mohammed Ashif from Udupi and Rohan Shetty and M D S A Khan from Mangalore are the four members selected following the final match held at NITK grounds in Surathkal on Sunday.

However, the final match was cancelled abruptly due to rains. Four players were selected locally on the basis of their performance in the previous matches.

The entire Mangalore United team conducted a road show from the NITK grounds to Nehru Maidan on Sunday evening. The team owner Mohiuddin Bava, coach Sanath Kumar, ambassador Sindhu and Global Associates’ Santhosh Suvarna accompanied the team.
